Photo-illustrations for award-winning Seattle modern dance company Whim W'Him
Photo-illustrations combining photography and illustrated elements in Photoshop. Seattle-based dance company Whim W'Him wanted to take their already colorful and energetic 2011 photos up a notch. Photographed against brightly-colored graffiti backgrounds, anime-inspired splashes of liquid color were hand-drawn in Photoshop to interact with the dancers and add even more energy and color via an intentionally 2D effect.
