Self Portrait, 2009
During a particularly serious period in my history, I wanted to create a self portrait that mimicked the tone and mood of my personal life, for use in my online social media. I couldn't justify putting a smiling face pic on my Facebook profile, so I set out to create one that was reflected me at the time.
Created entirely on the computer, this was drawn directly in Painter using a Wacom tablet, then colored and finally cropped in Photoshop.
