Website redesign for New York jewelry designer Rainer Facklam
Website redesign for NY furniture artist and jewelry designer Rainer Facklam. Very minimalist with an emphasis on expansive use of photography, the idea was to create a clean ecommerce-type layout with a fashion magazine aesthetic. Slideshows and drawer-style sub-menus keep the pages focused on the product photography. The layout was scaled to take advantage of fuller monitor browsing, but nevertheless scales to fit iPhones and iPads. The site was programmed in Freeway, a WYSIWYG application made for designers who are not as adept at code.
